Four Seasons Golf Club

Designed by Arnold Palmer, the Four Seasons Golf Club at Peninsula Papagayo is an 18-hole, par-72 championship course that golfers of all abilities will enjoy. The course is situated on Costa Rica’s northwest Pacific coast which features breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. From the championship tees, low-handicappers will find the challenge of the course invigorating, while four other sets of tees allow average golfers and beginners to also enjoy the journey. Papagayo has a very convenient location, only 45 minutes away from the Liberia International Airport. Ranked among the “Top 100 Courses Outside the United States”by Golf Digest, the Four Seasons course pairs dramatic elevation changes with stunning views of the Gulf.

Reserva Conchal Golf Course

This magnificent 7,030-yard coastal golf course located in Playa Conchal, Guanacaste was designed by Robert Trent Jones ll. Its natural beauty and majestic trees, native to Costa Rica, are scattered throughout the golf course. The designer creatively used these impressive trees as guardians for the uniquely laid out greens, shade for tee boxes and for marking the edges of the wide and inviting fairways. Reserva Conchal Golf Club has retained its designation as a “Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary” through the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program for Golf Courses, an Audubon International program.

Hacienda Pinilla Golf Course

Created by Mike Young, this par 72 course, which can play up to 7,200 yards, was designed to enhance the natural landscape of Hacienda Pinilla in Tamarindo, giving golfers an exceptional and immaculately conditioned place to enjoy a round with family and friends. This rolling coastal landscape served as a cattle ranch for more than 40 years, giving the resort its unique “Ranch-like” ambiance, rustic yet elegant. This amazing property offers the visitor three miles of pristine beaches with delightful ocean views and a tropical dry forest with a diversity of habitats and nature trails for exploring. Ancient and majestic native trees such as the “Guanacaste”, “Matapalo” and “Pochote” provide habitat for a myriad of colorful species of birds, iguanas, monkeys and deer, and others. The Golf Course at Hacienda Pinilla has earned its designation as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary for its preservation of ecological balance.

Valle del Sol

Designed by recognized architect Tracy May, the course is 7,011 yards, Par 72 and is rated championship category. It has spacious undulating fairways surrounded by majestic trees and vast lakes that attract a diverse and vibrant wildlife. Surrounded by colorful gardens, the greens present a surface that is smooth and fast. Certified as a wildlife sanctuary by Audubon International, the most recognized ecological organization in the world of golf, Valle Del Sol is the first and only course in the central valley open to the public. It possesses the largest Golf Academy in the country and offers instruction to children, youths and adults at different levels with both group and individual instruction. Throughout the year they organize many tournaments for both, professionals and amateurs.

La Iguana Golf Course

Nestled along the beautiful Costa Rican jungle, in Playa Herradura, La Iguana Golf Course is a 6,698-yard featuring 18 championship holes with a 73.4 course rating, par-72 and slope 145. Designed by Ted Robinson, this golf course is richly landscaped to include exotic native plants, banana trees, orchids and more than 150 species of birds and local wildlife.
