Manuel Antonio
Manuel Antonio is probably the single most popular beach destination in Costa Rica. The area is also home to the famous Manuel Antonio National Park. The Manuel Antonio National Park is the most visited national park in Costa Rica. This park is among the most diverse and beautiful places in Costa Rica. Its white sand beaches, mangroves and islands host 109 species of mammals, including the endangered Squirrel monkey, Titi monkey and the Capuccino monkey; 184 species of sponges, crustaceans and fish.

Tamarindo
Tamarindo is surrounded by natural attractions such as the Marino la Baulas National Park, the Diria Wildlife Refuge and some mountains with breathtaking views over the ocean. Its beach is a three and a half kilometer stretch of white sand and warm blue water. Tamarindo is Guanacaste's best known destination. Nature is abundant and leather back turtles lay their eggs in the northern part of the bay. Howler monkeys, migrant birds, and all kind of exotic wildlife live in Tamarindo's surroundings.

Monteverde
Monteverde, which means ‘green mountain’ in Spanish, is a small and beautiful village founded by a Quaker community in the 1950’s. Located in the mountainous area above Puntarenas this region is now famous for being associated with the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, The Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserve and the Children’s Eternal Rain Forest. Tourists will find a wide variety of fauna, plants, and more than 400 species of birds in all three national parks. Monteverde is the perfect destination to experience the natural beauty of Costa Rica.

Arenal
La Fortuna is a small town situated in San Carlos in the Alajuela province of Costa Rica. Just a few minutes away from this lively town stands Costa Rica's most active volcano: the majestic Arenal! The Arenal Volcano is a regularly spewing smoke and ashes. At the base of this awesome conic-shaped volcano, travelers will find the Arenal Lake which is the second largest manmade lake in Central America.

Corcovado National Park in the Osa Peninsula
Corcovado National Park is located in the south of the Puntarenas province in Costa Rica. This conservation area has been declared as 'one of the most biologically intense places on earth' by the National Geographic Magazine for having one of the tallest rainforests in the world and for being the house of many of the country's rare and endangered mammal and bird species. Corcovado features thirteen major ecosystems that range from mangrove swamps, lagoons, beaches, freshwater swamps and primary rain forest. Over 41,000 hectares protect around 140 different mammal species and 400 bird species. Located in the Osa Peninsula, this national park is one of the most remote and largest parks in Costa Rica.

San Jose
San Jose is the Capital of Costa Rica and it is located in the heart of the country in the Central Valley. Its population is estimated to be of about 1 million inhabitants. This city is the political and cultural center of Costa Rica and includes more than 50% of the economy of the country. San Jose has a wide variety of shops, banks, shopping malls, museums, parks, hospitals and more. The public transportation is very good and offers bus service to almost all towns in Costa Rica

Costa Rica is located in Central America with entrance to the Pacific coast and the Caribbean Sea. Its neighbors are Nicaragua and Panamá. The main international airport is Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO) and there is another smaller international airport in Liberia (LIR).
