You will be exploring this remote location, soaking up the natural beauty and tranquility of this magical jungle hideaway.
Tour Program
Day 1
Pick up at 6:30 a.m. at your hotel in San Jose. Drive through Cartago taking in the views of lush farmlands that blanket the slopes of Irazu and Turrialba volcanoes. You will be stopping along the way to enjoy a Costa Rican breakfast and coffee. Continue to Linda Vista where the Pacuare River rafting adventure will start. Experience a sheer exhilaration down miles of class II - III rapids. The trip is about 1 to 2 hours long, depending on the river conditions. At your arrival to the Pacuare Lodge you will have lunch and later continue with this one of a kind experience.
Day 2
On this day you will enjoy a day of adventure. Pick your daily activities from a fun list: a canopy adventure, canyoning, a visit to the Cabecar Indigenous village, birdwatching at dawn, a nocturnal hike among other tours. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included at the lodge. Experience local and flavorful recipes at the restaurant.
Day 3
Breakfast at the lodge. At 9 a.m. you will head back to San Jose. The rafting trip back is approximately 3 hours, making a stop to have a picnic lunch next to the river. You will be arriving in San Jose around 5 p.m.
