Tortuguero Package 3 days/2 nights
Stay at a 3 star lodge in Tortuguero with great access to the Tortuguero National Park and the surrounding scenic canals. You will enjoy comfortable accommodations as well as days full of adventure. This package includes daily meals and guided tours on site.
Tour Program
Day 1
Between 6:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m pick up at your hotel in San Jose to start your adventure to Tortuguero! For 1 hour and 30 minutes you will drive across small towns, passing by the Braulio Carrillo National Park. You will stop to enjoy a typical Costa Rican breakfast and delicious coffee. Continue the drive until reaching the dock somewhere between 10:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Board a comfortable boat and navigate through beautiful rivers, canals and lagoons. This is a unique experience where you will be surrounded by a great variety of flora and fauna of imposing beauty. At 1:00 p.m. you will arrive at the lodge. Time to enjoy a refreshing welcome cocktail and a delicious lunch. Later this day you will be visiting the Sea Turtle Conservatory Center (STC), the beach and the small town of Tortuguero.
A delightful dinner at the lodge will be served with time to unwind and relax at night.
Day 2
After breakfast at the lodge you will start a walking guided tour through the local rainforest. At 1:00 p.m. enjoy lunch at the lodge and rest. Around 2:45 p.m. a guided boat tour will take you to the of the wonderful Tortuguero’s canals. Dinner at the lodge.
Day 3
Have breakfast at the lodge. Around 9:00 a.m. start your departure trip back to San Jose. You will stop along the way to have a great lunch. You'll be back in San Jose around 3:30 p.m.
