Rincón de la Vieja National Park

Located only 45 minutes driving from Liberia City, this park is the most popular one in Guanacaste. Its virgin forest protects every ecosystem of Costa Rica, from rain forest to cloud forest, transitional forest to paramo.

The most important attraction of the park is the Rincon Volcano and its volcanic fumaroles, waterfalls and thermal springs, where visitors may observe the activity on the ground, just by taking one of its trails.
