If you like to discover some of the most typical sites of our capital city, we will take you around San Jose. You will discover the unexpected sophistication in the much-liked National Theater, visit La Sabana Metropolitan Park, considered today San Jose's lung, pass by the peaceful campus at the University of Costa Rica and munch more.

Visit the Gold, Jade and National Museum, and residential areas, ending in the city of Moravia where you will have plenty of time to purchase souvenirs before we take you back to your hotel.

The Butterfly Farm and the Coffee Tour combination

Set in the breathtaking panoramic valley of the Poas and Barva volcanoes, the café Britt farm and factory is "su casa". Café Britt is located only 20 minutes from San Jose.

The tour begins in our coffee fields, continues through our roasting factory and ends with a tasting session with expert coffee "cuppers". You will be able to experience first-hand, the incredible process that transforms a red coffee cherry into a perfect cup of café Britt. Then enjoy the beauty of the countryside while we take you to the Butterfly Farm where hundreds of butterflies are busy feeding on flowers and laying eggs. An enchanting 2-hour guided tour will show and describe the lives of these fascinating creatures.

The tour also takes you through the farm's breeding operations. Finally, join "precious" and "darling" for the ride in the farm's famous oxcart and taste of country folklore before returning to San Jose
