Las Baulas
Parks protects one of the most important nesting sites in
the world for the leatherback turtle, the largest sea turtle
in the world. Visitors may see this miracle of life during
the months of December, January, February and early March.
The turtles arrive during the night to Grande Beach in order
to lay their eggs. The park protects as well a estuary where
there is abundant wildlife, at the estuary visitors may discover
the uniqueness of the mangrove forest either by boat or kayak.
